Michael Jackson’s Death Certificate Stirs Up Controversy

Many had thought that controversies regarding Michael Jackson would fade away after the singer’s death. But it didn’t turn up to be so. The recent controversy that has popped up regarding the pop icon, is the cause of his death, which is not clearly mentioned in the ‘death certificate‘, issued by the medical department. Michael Jackson’s death certificate has been released without a proper cause depicting the reason for the singer’s death. According to sources, the investigators are still testing the singer’s brain.
The death certificate was issued by the Public Health Officials on Tuesday, the same day where the public and private memorials were held, celebrating the performer’s musical journey. The cause of MJ’s death has been listed in the death certificate as “deferred”.
Assistant Chief Coroner, Ed Winter said that Jackson’s brain, or at least a part of it are still being tested by the investigators who are trying to sort out the actual cause of the singer’s sad demise. “As soon as we are done with the brain, we will return it. There is a whole series of tests that will be done,” said Winter.
It is quite common for the coroner to hold some samples of the brain. Winter says that families often delay the burying of a loved one until the brain has been returned, but he is yet to receive any word from the Jackson family regarding their intentions.
Reports suggests that the investigators would carry out neuropathology tests in order to find out the actual reason of Michael Jackson’s death.
